Increasing population growth, declining fossil fuel resources, and rising emissions have increased the tendency to use other energy sources. Iran is no exception and in recent years has sought to use these alternative energies. One of the consequences of using this energy is burying its hazardous waste. The selection and disposal of this hazardous waste are very sensitive due to the environmental impact it will have on the area. Waste control must be such that it can be used to advance the environmental, economic, and social goals of “sustainable development”.
